I used this wire and clips to route LED undercounter lights in our kitchen. The clips are a little hard to get the wire into, but that's more my old eyes that it is the fault of the clips.Everything worked perfectly the first time, no issues at all.

These work great for what they are. I wouldn't trust the connection to be sturdy, but that seems like an unlikely use case. I used these to install strip lighting on two shelves, and it was honestly a breeze.I had maybe a 25% failure rate on initial connection, but 100% of the time I was able to make them work after reseating the strip, and it ended up being user error every time. A simple set of pliers is all you need to get a nice positive connection.

The hardest part about using these clips was cleaning the waterproofing silicone off of the led strip first. They are not string enough to pierce the silicone coating on waterproof strips. If I wanted to use these in a waterproof application, I would seal them with silicone before installing them outdoors.They need a short instruction diagram to show that when clipping them to the LED strip, the movable part of the clip come up from the bottom of the strip. If you look closely, you can see that the contacts pierce the LED strip from the top. However, once clipped, they are hard to open again. Having these instructions would have made installing the first set about 4 times faster.The included wires is a nice feature, and one of the reasons I bought them. One thing I didn't notice right away is that the wires are in the order of the contacts for the color of each LED on a 5050 strip. If you match the wires to the colors, troubleshooting is easy. No light on the green led? Check the green wire. This was a nice surprise feature.

The clips were quite difficult to use and I could not get a connection to work no matter how hard I tried. The clip actually pierce the copper conductors so if you are unable to get it to work the first time, the LED strip is rendered unusable and has to be clipped to the next conductor point. It is hard to tell whether it was the LED Strip connection or the connection to the wire that was faulty. I would try finding clips that use compression which seem to work far better and are easier to use. I threw the entire package away.

I should write a one star review because that is all some people like me ever read, but these really work, and reading the one-star reviews I can only conclude that people who have issues are color blind and can't keep green to G and blue to B. I had 100% connectivity joining small strips of 10mm 5-conductor LED strip light, and all colors and white work perfectly on all joined segments. I've had good luck soldering in the past, too, but this was so much less effort. I just needed to ensure I had a very sharp knife to carefully cut off the thick waterproof covering. The only question I had was which side of the LED strip should be the one that gets pierced with the prongs in the connector. I pierced the top side. I had 100% success. Perhaps it makes no difference.

Metal contacts cut into the wire casing and into the LED strip on the other end. Super easy to use with pliers. It’s even easy to remove and reuse with a flat head screwdriver. Very satisfied with this purchase!

This came exactly as expected with all the parts we were looking for. It was easy to use, and there are lots of online tutorials that you can research to figure out creative ways to use them. I highly recommend it for anybody trying to extend those cables.

We had issues with the connectors. The wire is perfect, the connector on the wire side is perfect we had big time problem with the led light side connector. When you press and lock it should not move. So you have a solid connection. But these led strip connectors move. Everytime they move the light gose out.I had fold the led strip 3 times to get a solid connection. It worked after that I just don't know how safe is that. I guess we will find out.

Be prepared to double up the thickness on the LED strip to get it to work.
