I had to purchase this, twice, because I made a mistake the first time. However, the second time I did not. They work, but not as well as others that I've used for other kinds of LED strips. I setup a U shape, on my ceiling, using two of the corner pieces. However, one of the corner pieces was very unreliable for the connection. Frequently, the communication would stop, causing the lights past that point to just stay on, without movement, or to fail to come on, or many other things. I had to press on the metal joints over and over to get them to "reconnect" frequently. Often 20+ times a day. Sometimes the connection would only work for 5-10 seconds at a time, also. And even when adjusting it, the colors would flicker, randomly, as this isn't something you can do while it's turned off. You have to do it while the electricity is going through it, in order to figure out the exact nanomovement to get them correctly communicating, due to the fickle copper connectors.The worst part, however, is because the clamp is "permanent", you can't even remove them to try a different piece because they permanently scrape the copper off of the LED strip, if you attempt to remove them. Overall I do have it working right now, but still have to constantly adjust them, which is a pain with something on the ceiling.I appreciate them, but definitely do not appreciate the huge hassle involved in using them. Other LED strips, and connectors, I've used have worked initially, and continued to work for years without me ever having to touch them.
