The fabric they use to make these was much thicker than I expected, especially for the price point. I washed them and let them air dry before using them. They work great and seem to be well made. I am very pleased with these covers. They fit well over my bowls and kept a salad good in my fridge for 3 or 4 days. I will buy more of these as gifts. So much better and safer than plastic!

Patterns are beautiful, seem sturdy, have held up to one wash so far and seems like they will hold up to future ones…the smallest one does seem a bit small to use but we will see. They don’t fit super tight but I was mainly looking for something to cover lightly so it works.

We were having a fruit fly problem, used these to cover our fruit bowl and our compost bowl and they kept the flies out. We have started to use them to cover half of the onion or the left over soup pot when we out them in the fridge. The size range us great. I throw them in the dishwasher inside out and they clean easily. Great buy!

Have had these for 2 years now with no complaints. They work for all sizes of jars and bowls, have great elastic, and wash well in the machine.

The description states that these are made from "quality cotton cloth." I'm a quilter and am very familiar with cotton. I was envisioning a cotton fabric with some sort of waxy layer. That is not the case. These covers are made from polyester; no labels/tags at all, but it is what my experience tells me. Think shower curtains or shower caps. There was a very strong chemical smell when I removed them from the package, and they had to be washed and put in the sun for a couple of hours to mitigate the worst of it. I was hoping for a fairly chem-free natural product; this is not it. I gave it three stars because it seems well-made.
