I upgrade my trolling motor and needed a larger breaker for it. I have purchased these breakers under various brands before, and this one was on par with them. Seems OK, as long as it trips when needed.

The raised plastic lip by the terminal is ever slightly higher than terminal base contact area. I didn't notice any issue when I initially was using it at 4A or less. When I started using it at about 60A, it heats up so quickly, in 3-4 minutes you can't touch the terminal. Having a lip is fine as long as terminal base is higher. It's either a design flaw or manufacturing flaw. Didn't test 100A capacity. Other similar breakers may have the same issue, just look out for it. Test and verify as much as you can before you walk away from it for a length of time. Safety first.

BULVACK 300 Amp Circuit Breaker Review.This circuit breaker is an interrupt/kill switch between an 11,000 lb capacity winch and a vehicle battery on an older Jeep TJ. The winch is hardwired to the vehicle battery. Over time, the winch would slowly drain the battery to the point where the Jeep would not start. While a 300 amp circuit breaker is likely overkill, it solved the issue.When the winch is not used, pushing a button on the circuit breaker breaks the circuit and prevents battery voltage drain. A red reset arm pops out when the button is pressed to indicate the circuit is broken. When the winch is needed, pushing in the red reset arm allows the current to flow to the winch.The included wire lugs accommodate 6 AWG wires, but the battery wiring in the Jeep and the winch required 4 AWG lugs. I like that the fastening points for the wire lugs have weatherproof caps that should prevent corrosion from forming. A small amount of dielectric grease helps, too.Waterproof is printed on the circuit breaker housing, and waterproof housing is mentioned in the product description. This device can be used for marine applications, but I could not find an ingress protection rating (IP).Overall, this product functioned as intended! Recommended!

Everything you need for a high amperage breaker to include aftermarket items in your battery box. Can confirm the switch is reliable to trip and east to reset without issue. There isn’t much for weather protection on the connectors so some dielectric is recommended.Arrives quickly and well packaged. Can recommend for personal and professional shop use.

Good breaker. Looks, feels and operates just like any others that I've bought before. In testing it responded perfectly when I introduced a short circuit. Has been working well, would recommend.

I really like that I no longer have to unbolt the battery to shutoff the power to my inverter. Inverter cables carry a lot of current and when you're servicing your system it's nice to have all the power shutoff so you can work on it without accidentally closing the circuit with say a wrench and causing damage to the battery or even an explosion. The breaker mechanism for manually flipping it seems to work very smoothly and it appears to be good quality. One thing I would say is to pay attention to the size of the terminals, they might be smaller than you might have on your battery/inverter cable so you will need to verify that. Also, the terminals are the type that seem to be very good quality - but you may want to see if you can get your hands on a hydraulic crimper to make sure you have a good connection to the cable, I never trust simply a pliers or hammer and screwdriver for this job. The hydraulic definitely is the way to go with the lugs. It is nice to see the proper lugs included, note that the lugs are meant for 6AWG wire and wont work properly with bigger or smaller.

Il ne faut pas souder ce type de câble, mais bien les sertir c’est très important malgré la désinformation. Les ''washers'' en cuivre au nombre de 4 sont également fournis.Les goujons de 1/4’’.Le boitier en plastique semble adéquat sans plus. La qualité du plastique des interrupteurs fait bas de gamme.Je n’ai pas testé sa capacité à arrêter rapidement et efficacement une surcharge au-dessus de 50 ampères.
