This dehumidifier is very good because it works excellently, it has not given me any failures. Its size is ideal for taking up little space, but the efficiency is great. It helps a lot with humidity. A drain hose also helps if the tank fills up so you don't have to wake up at night to change tank.

I originally bought this dehumidifier for a small building that tends to stay moist, but when my old truck developed a musty smell, I decided to try it there instead. After just a few days, the odor noticeably improved, and the dehumidifier had collected a surprising amount of water. It runs quietly, making it a great option for indoor use, and the water capacity is impressive—I let it run for a full week without needing to empty it. Overall, it’s an effective and budget-friendly solution for moisture control.

This humidor is the perfect size - it does not take up a lot of room, and it's very attractive and does not distract from my decor. My studio is in a very humid place; I live in Seattle and was a bit worried it was too small to make a difference - but I was wrong, it really pulled out the moisture - I know because I have a humidity reader in my studio - and it worked great. Stayed below 60% where I needed it to.

I purchased this for my garage, which is about 600 SQFT and fairly airtight. I figured a dehumidifier rated for 980 SQFT should be able to handle 600 SQFT fine, but unfortunately this was not the case. After letting it run continuously for 10 days, it only filled up about half the tank and had not reduced the RH humidity % at all in my garage. At the time of my purchase (10 days ago) I paid $80 and it appears this has now dropped in price significantly because its not effective. I then read over the product description a little more carefully and realized I made a mistake buying this dehumidifier because the claims that were being made just didn't make sense.Misleading Claims1. Claims its a 118 oz tank, I measure it and its closer to 90 ounces.2. Claims this will work for 980 SQFT. This is very unlikely and might work for a bedroom.3. Claims it will remove 40 oz a day, but this was "tested at 86 °F and 80% relative humidity" which is ridiculous as no one keeps their house at 86 °F or 80% RH. I looked up Dehumidifier testing standards in the US and in 2012 they had to be tested at an ambient temperature of 80° F and a humidity level of 60%. Then in 2019 this was updated to be tested at an ambient temperature of 60° F and a humidity level of 60%. Removing 40 oz a day is drastically easier at 86 °F and 80% relative humidity than at the standards from either 2012 or 2019. At the 2019 standards, I doubt this would remove half of its claim.Other Negatives1. The hydrometer/RH % it displays appears to be inaccurate. I tested this by placing another hydrometer next to it I used for my cigar humidor. Over the course of the 14 days, the dehumidifier showed a RH % that was about 10 degrees lower than my other hydrometer.2. There is no filter let alone a removable one that could be cleaned, so dust and dirt is allowed to freely go into it. I am sure overtime this humidifier will become even less effective as dust/dirt accumulates and coats the internal parts.Overall, this dehumidifier only removed about 4-5 ounces a day. I know the conditions in my garage are not ideal (about 55 degrees F and 65% RH), but this is still drastically lower than what I was expecting based on the claims in the product description.

I got this for my motorhome to keep the humidity under control in rainy weather. I like that it works automatically to keep the humidity level under control. I also like the large LED readout of the current level of humidity. It takes the guess work out whether it's working, and it's easy to see across the room. Note the fan is always on when the unit is turned on, but it's really quiet. It also comes with a tube in case you want to have it drain automatically, rather than periodically emptying the reservoir bin. Overall, this is doing a great job for me so far.

Just plug it in. Ease of operation and features makes this very practical. Small, but efficient and effective!

Although I had to return this item because it wasn’t the size I needed, this product was really nice. It was very space friendly, quiet, had a lot of nice features like being able to turn the light off or on as needed.
