Stability is very important

Electronic components may affect the stability of switches due to moisture, aging, and other factors. But our switch does not contain any electronic components while ensuring the switching of the power supply system. One-time purchase can be used for decades without replacement.

This is a perfect product. I like the neutral position. This takes both circuits out when not in use.

This worked like a charm to transform a sub panel into emergency panel for generator. A few things to consider are there is no separate bonding/grounding Bar included. Only a neutral with bonding screw is included. Also, you may want to purchase reducing washers for your connectors because the pre-punch knockout break out too large if you’re not extremely careful

If your system needs inspected, be aware, it’s not UL listed but the manufacturer is working through the process, so double check. It’s a great product, but be aware.

I have been trying several different transfer switches for solar/generator transfer. This model is by far the best one I have encountered for under a hundred bucks. I am only pushing 3-8 amps and just need a reliable, solid locking switch. This is the one.

Appeared to be well built. We used it with an inlet box on a commercial cooler to connect generator should there be a power outage .

Box is too small to fit the conductors used for a 100A service. The lugs are too small for #2 aluminum. This switch is EXTREMLY light duty. Be sure all power is off before switching. Consider spending more for better quality.

I bought this to setup a power failover system due to frequent power outages where I am located. I ran 2 AWG THHN wire from the backup system to the bottom lugs, then ran 1/0 THHN to the top lugs from the power company. Lastly, another set of 1/0 wire runs from the center lugs to the main breaker of the circuit breaker box. The setup was completed, tested, and proven to work as was planned. My house is ready with backup power during the next power outage.
