When Pep Boys and Dakota Ridge Auto in Colorado destroyed my valve cover nuts and screws, I had to find a way to fix it. I prayed to God, asking Jesus to help us, and he told me to get these Nuts, screws purchased here as well with the High-Heat JB-Weld. Then, I put it all together, with my Explorer running perfectly now!

These rivnuts work for my low torque needs. I am surprised they do not expand as much as anticipated; there is almost no 'bulge' to be seen where they compress. I am putting these though 3/16" steel, however. So far though I have not had one let loose and spin.I will note that 3/8-16 size requires a 17/32" bit to make the hole. Someone has posted a chart indicating 1/2" bit in another review; that is way too small. Knurled area measures ~0.524". I did first try a 33/64" bit; also not OK.
