Simple To Use:
Line the pliers up with the material where you want the hole to be, then press down on the plier handle & use the pliers jaws to make a small hole first. Put the eyelet in place & use the pliers to press the eyelet grommets into the material, which locks the eyelet in place

Out of the packaging, it pinched me. The instructions are terrible, I had to waste a couple grommets to figure it out. It doesn't hold in the fabric. I am more familiar with the two-piece grommets and this one piece thing just didn't work. the first time it only crimped one side, PINCH, and the grommet fell out. the second time it crimped both, PINCH, and the grommet fell out. I thought I had figured out the pinching thing when I dry ran it, but no, each time. If you like pain and think you are bleeding, then get these!!!

I am beyond happy to finally have one of these. I've been wanting one of these for so long not but given how much these are its been hard to get. This one works great. It does what it's suppose to do and I also realized a couple of days ago that it can also use it as a hole punch if you need one which I do actually since my actual hole punch makes holes to big for the metal pieces. I guess the only thing I don't like about this piece is that it has a very strong oil smell to it. Another thing I would add is to be careful with this because I accidentally pinch my skin on one of the parts and it really hurt. Very happy with this product and don't regret getting it.

I had high hopes for this eyelet pliers. Did a couple test punches on some cardboard worked fine and then went to actually use it on fabric. Just ripped and tore holes and everything. After about four attempts the eyelet punch broke. I'm very disappointed.
