About this item

  • 【 Insulation Material Shell】 : UK-2.5B Din rail wire terminal block made of high-temperature resistant and flame-retardant materials that has great electrical and mechanical properties, and can withstand harsh weather conditions.clamp feet are not easily broken as with high tensile strength
  • 【Wire Conductive Sheet】: The conductive sheet is made of pure copper, which can fully guarantee good contact performance and minimum contact resistance.
  • 【Reasonably Designed Installation Structure】 : Design structure and plastic elasticity are used which can be easily mounted on the rail which could bent repeatedly without deformation
  • 【Wiring Operation】: Strip the wire by wire stripper, insert the cold-voltage terminal, crimp the cold-voltage terminal with crimper insert a screwdriver, rotate counterclockwise, rotate the crimp frame to the bottom, insert the wire deep into the terminal hole, rotate clockwise, clamp the wire, and take out the screwdriver
  • 【 Wide Application】: Widely used in fields such as machine tool equipment, electronic equipment, medical equipment, and automotive maintenance equipment

I tried these on several different brands of mounting rails in both the wide style and narrow style. These fit the rails properly, including some stainless and aluminum versions.I tested them with some 12 AWG solid wire, The wire fit properly and was securely mounted. The screws did not strip out, and I was not able to pull the wire out without loosening the screws. With a 10 Amp load across these, there was only a 5.5 mV drop. After several minuets the only thing that got hot was the load resistor. The listing shows these as being compatible with 30 AWG wire to 10 AWG wire, but the terminal block indicates that it can only go up to 4mm square.4mm square wire falls between 12 and 11 AWG.10 AWG wire is 5.26mm square. These do close down enough to grip 30 AWG wire, but there is enough clearance in the clamp to allow that small of a wire to slip besides the center conductor and not be properly clamped.I would suggest a minimum of 24 to 22 AWG.These did not come with any end stoppers, end covers, or rail sections.

These DIN rail terminal blocks seem to work well and seem to be quality terminal blocks. The terminal blocks tighten down properly on the wires and are easy to add jumper strips between terminal blocks. The terminal blocks clamp to the DIN rail without any issues and are easy to remove from the DIN rail by prying the clamp lever out with a small screwdriver. These DIN rail terminal blocks were the perfect size for a recent access control project. The terminal blocks made wiring much simpler and will make future servicing easier. Overall, these DIN rail terminal blocks seem to work perfectly and are an ideal low-cost solution to a wide range of low-voltage control cabinets.

These feel like they're not quite up to the same quality as the more expensive ones I get, but they're adequate. I just wish the vendor would provide a link to the matching bus jumpers and screws.

Bear in mind that these don't come with bus bars that connect multiple terminals together, so if you are going to use these, you need that and the DIN rails to mount them to. Otherwise, each terminal only connects two wires. They are a good value for the money. While they aren't as solid feeling as some of the more expensive products like this that I've used, they work just fine and fit the DIN rail perfectly.

We have a large self-designed and self-installed home solar power system. It incorporates a fair bit of control wiring. These DIN-rail mounted terminal blocks have been quite useful already, and I needed quite a few more for a system expansion. DIN-rail mounting is a good solution compared to the old screw-type Cinch-Jones style terminal blocks. These terminal blocks are well-made and accurate.

These are small compact connectors. Just what I was looking for for my solar project. They are best used with a ferrule when connecting the wires.

This was my first time using DIN terminal blocks in my projects and it won’t be my last. I like how it makes wiring neater and more flexible. I’ve wanted to try this out for awhile and it was a bit of a learning curve figuring out the compatible accessories needed.I’ll pass along some of what I learned for those who haven’t tried these out yet. First, I found these terminal blocks to be of good quality; they are sturdy and held small wires securely (ferrules recommend). I almost immediately determined I wanted more than just gray blocks and found the other non-brand name UK2.5B blocks to be identical and the generic rail type terminal accessories (end caps, jumpers, etc.) worked well with these. I also bought some of the popular “D” brand blocks and accessories and found them to be narrower and shaped slightly different so I couldn’t use the same end caps or jumpers with these. All in all, these are good terminal blocks at a great price… if you need a large quantity of single color blocks.
