The material grade of the pin didn't hold up to expectations. I used this latch to reinforce a swing out bumper as a secondary holding mechanism, but wasn't expecting it to break so soon. I would not use this product for critical applications.

The castings were rough, had to do some grinding on them to get the fit right. Would've been better without the coating on them. The grips don't stay on. They are heavy duty, and get the job done.
