I purchased this cutter to extend the ARCA slot on an early MPA rifle chassis the full length of the forend.Worked perfectly.I was a little concerned that the shank might snap above the cutter so i took care to make light passes even though it was aluminum.I will definitely buy one with a larger shank should this one break or wear out.But to make 2 ten inch passes in aluminum....well worth the price.

Well you pay for what you get. Was cutting a small dovetail in ALUMINUM and mill end came apart. Lesson learned.

Based on the comments of others, I took very light cuts with it ( .010) for the .115 cut depth of the Arca mount, but it did its job, and the teeth didn't look as horrible as some other dovetail cutters I have purchased from Chinese sources in the past. Would buy again .

For the price they’re not bad. It didn’t have a great finish on the flutes, but it cut aluminum well enough.

The grind on the teeth is awful. Every single one had a large burr that needed to be removed. After fixing the grind I tried to cut a dovetail .05" deep in 6061 aluminum after clearing out a .25x.05 slot to minimize the amount of material being moved by this mill. It shattered after getting ~.15" into the cut.
