I bought these to fix a lamp dimmer i.modify fir remote dimming. I was experimenting with capacitors to reduce flickering, shorted wire and blew my triac. I put this one in and no more flicker6during power dips. Isolated case and sensitive gate device is perfect unless you need a triac diac device. Very happy

Built a simple single-phase phase controller to step 120 Vac rms down to 24 Vac rms to the load. This part worked perfectly for me.
