As a machinist for 20 years, I have been used multiple centers drills, at first I was nervous to invest in this center drills, but now I actually very impressed about the quality and performance of , I just drilled 250 holes using one bit and still sharp.. thank you!

Undersize and slips in my collet on a minimill but working with some creativity. Cuts very well, much better than expected. Frustrating that it slips though.

Sometimes the tooling you get on Amazon isn't the greatest quality, but these actually are pretty good.

Used for general machining.. These are made accurately enough.

Nice little spotting drill (or corner-chamfering mill). I have the version that’s 6mm (.235â€) diameter. This cutter has a very fine point and is ideal for making a starting spot for a larger twist drill to follow. The included photo shows the conical divot produced in a small aluminum bar that’s chucked in my metal-turning lathe. The next operation was a standard drill and was held on-center due to having a center starting location made by the spotting drill. But that’s not the only way this drill is helpful. I’ve also used it in my drill press to pick up on the tiny dent left from a center punch when precisely marking out locations that need to be drilled with great accuracy. The tiny, sharp point of the spotting drill drops directly into the finest of center punch marks making it ideal for guiding the twist drill (or even a center drill) for continuing the required operations on the part being manufactured. I have not tried using my DelitonGude Spotting Drill bit as a chamfering mill as of yet but I do believe it would work fine for beveling the edge of most materials.
