This is a great, full featured jewelry making kit. I tested all the tools and they all opened automatically as they should. If I had one concern, it would be the potential longevity of the opening mechanisms on these and the strength of the opening system. I would like to see it be just a little bit more of a firm opening as I fear it may start to fail in due time. But as of right now, this is an unfounded fear and they may do just fine for years to come. So from this point on, we will be optimistic and hope for them to perform reliably. I would recommend these as of today.

I just started making pendants and wanted something to start out with, so I purchased the vouiu 10-Piece Jewelry Pliers Set.The individual pliers are small and work pretty good. There is a good assortment of pliers and they have a rubber type coating on the handles so you can hang on to them better. I find that they fit in my hand well and aren't too big.They come with a zippered case, but I don't use it, I leave the pliers out on my work bench, so I don't know how that holds up. They have metal "springs" to help with opening and closing.I am giving it 4 stars because the nylon nose pliers are getting messed up already from use and I haven't really done that much jewelry making so far.I will have to upgrade the nylon nose pliers for a better pair before doing much more.Update - 12/25/24 On one side of the flat nose pliers, the rubber cracked or tore and the metal handle is sticking out the bottom.

This is the 2nd or 3rd set of tools I have gotten since I started makeing jewerly. Ive lost sets and have had others stolen. These are well made and a great value for the price. I also love that they come in a very sturdy case which helps keep them organized. O like the smaller size of the tools and the variety of tools in this set. I was surprised at the low cost concidering how well theyre made I highly recomend this set and I ve been doing this type of craft for over 50 years

Approximately $3.20(usd) per tool in the set w/ handy storage case!!!Includes FlushCutter, Round & Chain/Needle Nose pliers = Everything a beginner wire worker needs plus Crimp, Flat & Bent Nose, Nylon, EndNipper, 6step Mandrel, JumpRing Opener, 7 extras that just make work life easier!!!Case seems well constructed w/heavy duty zipper, tools seem to be a decent quality for a beginner, as skill improves one may want to upgrade the quality of their tools but this was a genius value to start with for me.Pliers looked smaller than expected, but are comfortable enough to use.Example: Round Nose handle is about 2.5†(black sleeve) to 3†(from ‘joint’ to end tip) open: 3 & 1/4†at end tip to 1 & 1/2†near joint. The Nylon & Mandrel handles measure roughly 1/2†more than the Round Nose.

Very nice set of diverse and helpful tools. Perfectly packed in a neat carrier case. The only down side is that the tools themselves are of really poor quality. I should have guessed given the price, but I was hopeful. I would not recommend buying this set. You will be better of with slightly more pricey items that are of better quality.
