UDG-4999 Programmable Thermostat
If it wasn’t for the cozy warm feeling in the room, you would never know it had been fitted.
Unlike conventional heaters that warm one particular spot, LuxHeat radiant floor heating evenly distributes warmth throughout the floor and up into the room, leaving no uncomfortable cold spots.
The heat is directed where it is most pleasing – the feet – leaving the air we breathe slightly cooler. In fact, the air surrounding our bodies remains slightly cooler than our bodies, preventing that ‘’stuffy’’ feeling so often experienced in a room that is heated by forced air.
- 3” pre-spaced wiring is designed to reduce installation time and ensure even heat distribution.
- Dual wire technology with aluminium shield minimizes electromagnetic fields (EMF).
- The Mesh can be cut and flipped or rotated to provide maximum coverage; wires can also be removed from the mesh to help get into those hard-to-reach areas.
- The Self-Adhesive mesh on one side and double sided tape on the other, ensures the mat adheres to sub-floor and lies flat even when flipped or rotated.
- Radiant heat does not dry out the air, circulate dust or aggravate allergies.
- Out of sight, no unattractive plug-in heaters, radiators or vents; no storage hassles and no fan noise.

LuxHeat Floor Heating Mat
LuxHeat's Radiant Floor Heating Mat is one of the most robust, versatile, easy to install floor heating systems available on the market today. The resin coated fibreglass re-enforcing mesh is designed to protect the heating cable and add strength to the layer of thinset or mortar.
The re-enforcing mesh can be cut, turned, flipped, or in part removed, to accommodate any room size or shape. While the MESH can be cut, the heater wire MUST NOT be cut or shortened.
- Elements are ETFE insulated and covered by a tough outer jacket, providing the ultimate dialectic and mechanical strength.
- Heater wire is less than 5/32" thick, ensuring minimal effect to finished floor height.
- Heater wires are pre-spaced at 3” intervals – providing optimal heat distribution.
- Mats are 20” wide, and available in various lengths.
- Watt density: 12w/sqft.
- Voltage: 120v.
UDG-4999 Programmable Thermostat
The UDG Thermostat can be configured for control of Floor Temperature, Room Temperature, or Room Temperature with Floor Temperature Limiting - providing optimal comfort levels while ensuring floor coverings do not exceed recommended temperatures.
The UDG offers all the necessary functions to ensure easy installation and temperature control, for every floor type. Accurate and intelligent control reduces running costs and ensures personal comfort.
- Ambient Temp Range +32 to +104°F (0 to +40°C).
- Floor limit range: +41 to +104°F (+5 to +40°C).

LuxHeat Monitor
The LuxHeat Monitor is designed to measure the heating cable’s continuity during installation.
If the heating cable is cut or damaged during installation the Monitor will immediately alert the installer by means of a loud alarm and red flashing light. We still recommend an ohms test is carried out before, during and after installation.
If the alarm sounds we suggest contacting a professional to identify the damaged area and make the repair.

Floor Sensor
The Floor Sensor is a reliable and accurate temperature sensing probe designed to measure floor temperatures when connected to a thermostat. OJ Thermostats’ default setting is Dual Sensing (Air/Floor), meaning the floor sensor will need to be installed and connected.
The thermostat can be set to measure AIR only, but for optimal control and comfort we recommend installing the floor sensor and using the thermostats default ‘Dual Sensor’ setting.

- Resistance: 8 to 12 K OHM measures 68˚F to 86˚F (20˚C to 30˚C)

I never write online reviews, but here we are! From square one I couldn't be more pumped about this product and company. First, after I created the order, their team called me to confirm I actually wanted the 240V - they really wanted to get it right! The install wasn't too hard if you read the instructions. (I had very limited experience with this type of product). Make sure you own a multimeter if you do install it on your own. Anyway, I installed it and had it working perfectly, nice toasty room and floor! That was until we cut a hole through the wire when installing our toilet supply line... Right away I reached out to ProLux and they responded IMMEDIATELY with guidance on how to make the repair. (Shout out to Stuart). They even are confirming I have everything I need with my order to ensure I get the repair correctly. I have been getting lots of comments about this renovation and the heated floors - I will surely be recommending this company to anyone who asks. Appreciate it!

Only been installed for a few months, but works perfectly. Set at 72’F in winter, and keeps floor +/- 1’F.
