Motor can be irrespective of positive and negative, when the running direction is inconsistent with the expectation, the direction can be changed by adjusting the line sequence.
The potentiometer knob can change the governor output duty cycle, thereby changing the motor speed.
Please do not connect AC power directly(Such as:110V AC),the input volt of this controller should be DC,otherwise it will be burned out.
Please make sure that the positive and negative polarity is connected correctly

I purchased this to control the speed on some 50mm computer type fans I am using to keep my nano reef tank at a constant temperature. I didn't want the fans running at full speed due to the noise level. This unit was SO EASY TO USE. Just input the power in the clearly marked locations & the output (fans) it the other locations. Plug your 12V DC power supply into the wall & adjust the speed with the dial. Couldn't be easier. Great Product. I purchased another on to control another set of fans.

Bought this for repairing a trolling motor that was missing the controllers. Wired it with a 3-way rocker switch so I could turn the propeller either clockwise or counter-clockwise (reverse or forward). When I flipped the rocker switch to reverse, propeller turned at full speed no matter where the speed dial was set (even "off"). When I flipped the rocker switch to forward, the propeller wouldn't turn at all unless the speed dial was at 8 or above. It hit "max" speed (nowhere near as fast as when in reverse) at about 9.5, then slowed back down above that.It's not the trolling motor. I reversed the polarity, and the same thing happened except in reverse. Full speed forward regardless of speed dial, no reverse motion below 8 on speed dial and much slower.Tried to find contact info for customer service; it's like this company doesn't even exist. I hope this bad review will get someone's attention at Onyehn.

I built a cheap wireless remote throttle control and my first speed controller died on me from the salt air. So far this one has held up and being able to remove the green connector to add and remove wires makes this a great choice. I would definitely purchase another if I need it and for the price I dont mind replacing yearly if I need to

Had hooked up to 12v fan and would not attempt to control speed till it was 2/3, then it seemed to surge.Knob was not on tight and keeps falling off.

The maxxair dome fan on my camper has one speed and is loud to run at night. I added this to run the fan at a lower speed and it workers great. Very easy to install and works flawlessly.
