The optics and illumination are top-notch, but the edges of the metal were not completely deburred and softened. As a result, I received a small cut. The case is also very good.

My wife is a certified Diamondtologist and Gemologist and loves this for magnifying loose stones without distortion. The UV light illuminates the fluorescence of diamonds and is large enough for customers to see through. Definitely a great tool!

I have to hike the coin upside down to see it in the loupe right side up. Also, move the magnifier right to see left of the coin. Is this right?Otherwise nice case and good light

Great to look at the small details of fossils and minerals. With the led on it its even more clear. But the main reason i got this one was the uv light to look at fluorescent minerals and the only mineral it has a slight effect on is a yooperlite stone.
