Performance; the focus is really good and clear. The lens is also a great size, little bigger than most. Was thinking would need a more powerful loupe and would like lights, but this type was recommend. It acts like it is stronger than 10x. Like the grip, doesn’t slip on occasion. Not too big, it has a small ring to attach it to a lanyard, and a case, so it is portable. The case could be a little better, but don’t use it much. Riveted together, nice tension, it doesn’t flop open. Appearance, looks good. Even a friend was surprised on the clarity of the lens.

Nicely made loupe with a very grippy rubber cover on the loupe body. Riveted construction of the metal body so unlikely to disassemble. No keying slots on the optics retaining ring so not able to disassemble to totally verify that it is truly a Hastings triplet but it does appear to be such. Power appears to be as listed compared to my Belomo 10x loupe and optically excellent. Actual clear aperture is about 18.7mm. Opening & closing very smooth with just right tension. The included case is very thin gauge leather but does the job.

Good optical and build quality at a good price. I like the rubberized surface to help protect it from bumps, plus a nice pouch. There's already a little ring on the metal bar of the cover that makes it easy to attach to a lanyard if needed.

They are a little bulky as lens is not so secure to cover. Lens keeps swiveling. Feels cheap.

I wasn’t sure I needed a new little pocket lens but I have used it quite a bit since it arrived. Nice feel with the rubberized grip, and crisp, bright field of view. No complaints.

It’s only my first loupe. I don’t have knowledge of loupes, but it does what I need it to do and I’m very happy with it.Very nicely made.

Great jewelers loupe, and at 1/3 the cost of the ones carried by the local jewelry supply shop, how can you go wrong? Glass lense is clear, and as good as the $50 loupes! Better yet, comes with a lanyard to carry around your neck so it is always handy!. Plastic case instead of leather, but that is a good trade off.

Sturdy, esthetically pleasing and overall excellent quality. I have no problem using it for jewellery making or for viewing gemstones.

You can see the hair follicles on your spouse’s upper lip and annoy her but you will be in range of a pinch so be wary

A little bulkier than I expected but the hexagonal shape of the lense and its rubber-like sheath makes for a comfortable grip.
