This was a perfect fit. I had purchased another replacement door for my oversized mailbox which did not fit well and was hard to close properly. It also did not last long. This door installed easily and has retainer clips in the sides plus a retainer clip at the top. The magnets are small, but work well. My mailbox is in a brick structure with minimal access to the sides, but this one snapped in and appears to seal completely.

It was serendipity that I found this solution to a broken mailbox door in a large brick mailbox. I was planning on buying another rural size black metal mailbox, scavenging the door and rigging it on. I'm so glad I didn't have to do that. The size was perfect, installation was easy, and the look is just like a new mailbox.

Our mailbox door had been barely hanging on for several years, having been variously bolted, wired and welded together in several vain attempts at a fix. I took this product out of the box, pushed it snugly in place and the job was done. The new door is holding up well so far and looks and functions perfectly.

Very good quality. Easy to put on to existing mailbox. The only problem I had was the price but in the long run was worth it. It was better than getting someone to take the old one down and putting a brand new one up . The price is the reason I gave it 4 stars.

Sizing descriptions are confusing at best, but the product itself is the best mailbox related invention ever. They just need to clarify inside and outside dimensions along with the dimensions of the opening you are trying to fit, but if it looks close, you are probably OK.
