For the price I was surprised at the weight and strength of it. I was expecting something relatively cheaply made but this is a tough jackhammer bit. I did have to cut off the top 2 inches of it for it to fit into my 45 lb. Makita jackhammer but other than that, it is a great jackhammer bit for sure.

Pros nice weight, sturdy, feels good quality, good shovel sizeCons the 1â…› universal hex didn't fit , it was bigger , maybe by 1 or 2 1/32, I used a harbor freight bauver jackhammer, chisel and braker fit perfectly

Makita calls it a “large†bit size (as opposed to sds or 1-1/8 bits ) .This particular item works great in clay. Build quality is solid

Pictured next to a factory Makita bit, it seems like it’ll be good. I bought it to use in my HM1500 Makita jackhammer. I’ll update IF there’s any issues.
