The wife wanted a candle holder for her candle cups. I drilled 15-20 holes with this bit, and it worked well. I would recommend it.

First, it's oxidized out of the package despite being covered in oil.Second, I'm not sure a single part of this is sharp. Cuts like a dull butter knife, and the round shank means the bit spins in the chuck no matter how hard you tighten it down.Doesn't produce chips. It produces dust.What an utter piece of crap. Shame I only tried using after my return window.

I use this bit to drill holes for Plumbing. I also bought an extension to use with it and easily drilled through an 8 inch beam. Still plenty sharp enough to drill through all the three-quarter inch plywood flooring. I would definitely recommend this bit at work great

These are well machined and less cheek area which reduces heat and associated burn discoloration of the hole.

The center point of this Forstner bit is pretty horribly asymmetrical and dull. My application for drilling through something plastic really required a sharp point. I should’ve expected something like this for the price, and I’m going to keep it as a beater, but spend the money for the quality. I am currently waiting for my Freud version.
