The ultra-sharp cutting edges feature optimized angles to cut more quickly and accurately through hard and soft woods than traditional forstner bits. With a reduced shank, these bits fit 3/8" and larger drills and drill presses, these wood drill bits are ideal for fine woodworking, cabinet-making and more. Set includes 1/4" (6.3mm), 3/8" (9.5mm), 1/2" (12.7mm), 5/8" (15.8mm), 3/4" (19.0mm), 7/8" (22.2mm), 1" (25.4mm), 1-3/8" (34.9mm) forstner bits.

Put in new doors frames throughout the house. Worked great to drill out for the latch. Nice case, perfect size assortment. Excellent quality, super sharp and worked easily through the wood.

The product from Irwin is usually always consistent. It'll get the job done, maybe not the best, but they can help you get it done. These bits have some inconsistent sharpening. The edges are slightly chewed up, out of the box. Don't expect perfect machining for the price. These still are the best for what you pay.

This was my first set of Forstner bits after struggling with paddle bits for 90% of my life. What a difference! These came with a light coating of oil to prevent corrosion, so be aware of that, but these hog through wood like nothing else. They've allowed me to drill clean holes in thinner plywood that would've otherwise blown out on the backside. You still need to exercise caution when drilling through thin materials, but I do feel like the quality of the holes was far superior to those of any other large bit I've used.

What's to dislike,super sharp and lives up to the name ,someone said they are overpriced,I don't think so atall,you always get what you pay for. You can't go wrong with t these bits of kit. With regards and respect John Hayes.

Irwin est une très bonne marque même leurs pinces. Je l'ai acheté en janvier et pas de rouille jusqu'à présent. J'en ai utilisé un peu et c'est très pointu, j'ai eu un très bon résultat comme prévu.

La verdar no son de la más alta calidad, pero cumplen bien, la de 35mm para bisagras bidimensionales se traba un poco, la comparé con otra que compré suelta igual aquà en Amazon y si se nota un poco la diferencia, pero si es la única que tienes hace el trabajo, pero por el precio que las conseguà (menos de $550) me pareció una ganga, están a precio de las chinas, o sea también son Chinas pero de una marca reconocida y el estuche es un plus muy importante, los broches se sienten un poco endebles pero el estuche en si es bastante bonito y súper útil, si las encuentran en ese precio no duden en comprarlas.
