I dull my blades bc I put the chainsaw in the dirt not knowing the dirt will dull the blade. I bought this to sharpen the place and it work perfect.

The tools are great. The instructions on how to sharpen a saw are lacking. Below is a checklist of how to sharpen a chain saw- Disconnect power. Don’t forget this step.- Put on gloves.- Make sure the chain is snug on the guide bar.- Put saw in vice.- Select correct file. The file should be slightly higher than the blade- Put the handle on the file- Mark the beginning point on the chain with a crayon.- Keep the file horizontal and file the cutting tooth at the correct angle to the blade (generally 30 degrees).-File away from you. The file is not designed to file back and forth.- File every other tooth at the same angle. Turn saw around in the vice to file the remaining teeth.- Check the height of the rakers (depth gauge) with the tool provided. The raker is the metal lip in front of the cutting tooth. - If a raker is too high, use the flat file to lower it. File each rakers in only one direction. File away from your body.- Inspect the chain. The saw should be ready to use.

Las herramientas son muy completas y tienen un precio razonable, pero las instrucciones son pésimas, pues no se entienden y son insuficientes. Hay una pieza de metal tipo latón que no sé que es ni para que sirve.
