Super easy to read and measure blueprints, the three sides design makes it so it doesn’t roll off the page and quality is definitely there.

I bought this to help with a backyard landscaping project. I created a few drawings using the scale. It worked great and the white on black markings were very easy to see with my old eyes.

As far as I could tell, using another high-quality measuring device, the markings are accurate. They are not just painted on, but they are etched into the metal. The manufacturing of the ruler appears to be of high quality, and I do not think that there is anything that I could accidentally do that would damage the integrity of the ruler.

I cannot attest to the accuracy of the scales as I bought it for use in fine trimming batting in quilting seams after I saw a hint using this type of ruler. It works great for that purpose as it will not nick from a rotary blade. The price was right and was MUCH less than a specialty quilting tool.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this a metal scale. I had just sat on my plastic scale that ihad for over 40 years. It's back with clear crisp lettering to make iteasy to use.

I ordered the imperial version and that is what I received. It is solid and looks really hard wearing. No complaints here.

I ordered this especially to get the imperial scales, since Australia is metric and metric scale rules are easy to find everywhere. I work in the scales used for dollhouse miniatures (1/12), 1:24, and action figure (1:6) which are all based on feet and inches, as used in the US, because that is the biggest market for these things. So even in a country which went metric 60 years ago, if you want to make dollhouse furniture, you are going to be working in 1:12 (1 inch to the foot). If you want model cars for a street scene, they come in 1:18, 1:24, 1:32. The description and photos of this ruler on Amazon show scales I can use, expressed differently but they mean the same thing. But what arrived is a metric scale ruler with scales like 1:100, 1:200, 1:500, which are no use for anyone working in dollhouse scales. It looks like a good solid metal triangular ruler, so if it was as described it would be good value and I would be giving it a top rating.
