This set is perfect for a classroom setting. You get a lot for the price and it's good quality. Works great! Very easy to use! The compasses are nice and tight and don't shift while making an arc or circle, which is very important for geometry.

I bought this because all the ones I kept finding local were plastic and flimsy. I always preferred a metal compass and wanted my daughter to have something higher quality to work with. This worked out great.

Great product and high quality. Great for beginners and those who use these tools all of the time. Get box to keep everything organized. Always buy this product for my boys and grandsons. Great value and highly recommend.

This compass set is definitely made for children and I don't see any deception otherwise. When I received my set, the largest compass had a stripped out thumbscrew that holds the pencil in place (out of the box and without use). I could have sent it back but the other components in the box made the deal still worth it. I am sure that company would have made it right but I elected to purchase a more solidly built compass for my needs and keep this set for the other stuff. I give it five stars for value and 1 star for quality. Three stars puts us in the middle.Update: Even though I elected to keep the set, Mr. Pen contacted me directly with an offer for a full refund. This is an exceptional company that stands behind their product. Judging by previous reviewers, most folks are getting good sets. I have since bought other products from them that are working just fine as well so I am upping them to a four star rating. If you get a defective set, Mr. Pen will make it right so no worries there.

I started drawing mandalas so I needed a geometry set (for the first time since high school). This little set came with everything I needed. I wish the ruler was longer and the compass a little bigger. I love the eraser - clears the pencil marks without damaging paper.

Bought this for my geometry class and the second it came in I didn’t have to really use it anymore but everything is really easy to use and kinda fun when you don’t have to use it for school.
