I use these connectors for the common two wire auxiliary lights on my Jeep. Knowing that LED lighting means complete unit replacement when they go bad, this connector makes it simple to add an end to a new unit and just plug it in.They are waterproof, have not had a failure here in the North East winters.Tight snap in connector, so it stays connected during hard driving.Price?? For convenience and what it’s expected to do, this is a great value.

While I have just installed these I can attest that they are in direct and heavy rain a lot. I used them for fog lights on a 4x4 and these plugs are exposed to all elements. On installation I used dialectic grease in them and also soldered and (multiple) heat shrinks around all wire joints. I needed the plugs in case I pull the bumper and don't want to cut the wires. So far all lights are working and it's been through torrents of rain and snow. Also checked voltage through each path and I found 100% continuity through each and every plug.Will check the plugs in summer (after mud season) and regrease if necessary. Otherwise I feel completely confident that these are waterproof.

I like these connectors that have pigtail wires attached. Very easy to join with a longer wire with butt connectors.Both halfs of the connectors snap together firmly.I do not know if they are waterproof (e.g. taking a, Jeep through a creek and submerging the connectors). They are definitely splash proof (e.g. driving Jeep on wet roads).
