I’ve had two plates fall off my wall because the adhesive from the hooks had failed. I’m likely going to have to change all the hanging mechanism so that I don’t have more fall.

It says 12 pieces . It is not 12 hangers. Only 6 plate hangers. Easy to put together. There are also 2 different sizes.

I had some glass cutting boards I wanted to display, and I bought this set because I wasn't quite sure how to hang them. I tried to use the stretchy wire plateholders, and while they absolutely worked, I was able to use other parts of the kit -- namely the sticky hanger things and the slightly larger hook -- to get it hung. It was so nice to have a mix of solutions in one place to solve my problem! The plate holders were easy to use and now I'm feeling empowered to pick up some decorative plates. This is a must-have for any homeowner with weirdly shaped stuff to display.

As you can see from the picture, we have a plate wall now! All thanks to these little brackets. The blue plates already had brackets on them, so I used these new ones for all the other plates. The one on top we too small for one of the spring-loaded brackets, so I used one of the adhesive brackets that come in this set, and it worked great.The spring brackets were a little finicky to put together, but once they're on a plate they are super easy to handle and use. They also do a good job of holding the plate flat against the wall (providing you use a nail with a flat head on it). The only one that didn't hold the plate flat was the adhesive one I put on the top plate. That one does hang out a little bit on the top, but not so much that it looks bad.As you might expect, "Invisible" isn't an accurate descriptor for these. You can see the gold prongs sticking out on the top and bottom on the spring-loaded brackets, but it's true you don't notice them from a normal viewing distance. And the adhesive ones actually are invisible once you've hung it.

I got this set so I could do a wall of plates of different sizes and shapes. They work amazingly well and give you that decorator feel without spending a lot of money. Works for more than just plates too, I found some small pieces of odd, shaped art and they also have hung on the wall without failure.
