I needed to install six sunshade sail poles, and I had to drill four 4-inch holes for each pole base in concrete. This bit did the job with no issue. It comes in a pair, but I just used one, and it did not deform after drilling 24 holes in concrete.

This is a nice pair of heavy-duty masonry drill bits. I often have jobs that require using masonry bits, so I have lots of experience with them. Pretty much across the board, the tips rarely last very long and they go dull. Some of the poorest quality masonry bits actually have their tips fall off when drilling. This pair of bits doesn’t have that problem. When I picked them up, I could tell that they were built to last. They did not cut any corners on these 3/8†by 6†bits. The tips are sharp, very hard, and securely attached. I have tried them on a variety of hard masonry materials and they are still going strong with no signs of wearing down. The carbide material they used on the tips must be doing the trick. Right now, other than being a little dusty, they look as good as when I pulled them out of the package. This pair of masonry drill bits are good quality and they get the job done without any issues.

No matter how good a masonry drill bit is, it will stop being effective against concrete, brick and other hard objects before long. So, getting a set of two is very helpful. It is nice when on the job to not have to stop and find or purchase more drill bits. Multi-packs are common, and you usually get a better deal, but the quality of the bits is not usually the best. In this case, these 5/8†by 6†masonry drill bits are high quality. They are clearly built to last. They are crafted very nicely, and the steel is super strong. The drill tip is ready to stand-up to masonry materials. These high-quality masonry drill bits in a two pack are a good value.

HLOFIZI 3/8" x 6" Masonry Drill Bits 3/8 inch Concrete Drill Bits Carbide Tipped -- My favorite aspect of these bits is the 3-flat shank design. This shank makes it so much easier to tighten in the hammer drill chuck. Keeps the bit from slipping while drilling. These bits have not been used yet; however, they look like solid quality bits. They have good sharp carbide tips. I use a lot of them and got these to keep at the ready for when I need them on the next project. At a price point of $9.79 for both, these are roughly half the price I would pay at the local big box/hardware store.

The masonry drill bits are in good condition. The steel is smooth and not pitted, the edges are crisp with no burrs. The drill end is well formed. The drilling end looks like it would do a good job. The case is sturdy enough to protect them and everything else in the tool box.We haven't been able to use them just yet but if there are any shortfalls I will update the review.

I needed to drill 20+ 3/8†holes in concrete and my old bit was worn/dull….This bit powered right thru to create clean holes without missing a beat and has a lot more life in it than I already used. Although, I didn’t use the 2nd bit, I will have it on hand if the first one ever wears down.I like that they come in the plastic tube to protect them in my hammer drill box; they won’t get beat up dulled by all the other bits flying around in there.Hope this helps
