These are the perfect wet sandpaper to finish my epoxy resin projects. I begin with a lower number and end with the highest number. When I'm satisfied with how smooth the surface is, I finish with my polish for a beautiful, clear shine.

This kit has everything needed to do a professional job of polishing headlights. The discs can be used wet, which is great for the finer grits to keep them from clogging. The soft backer pad is perfect for conforming to the curves. The range of grits, the quantity of discs, perfect, great value. Recommended.

Got these for general purpose, but right away found a use on a family member's 2005 Honda Odyssey's badly clouded headlight covers. Started at 600 grit and went all the way up to 10k. Looks good even before the UV finish coat. The pads don't load up when doing wet sanding, and the grit stays put, which is great. The sanding discs are precisely cut the right size and, when reasonably carefully mounted to be even on the pad, they are well balanced. Used the hex adapter in a Bosch 12v drill motor. Works fine.Happy!Update: Just bought a similar 128 piece kit from the same vendor CKFCXC for my son that has two Velcro pads, with 10 each of 12 grits like this kit. Also: these 3" discs are a really good size to just grab and give a quick-by-hand "3-fingers" sand/polish without even putting them on the Velcro spin pad.

If you want to turn your drill or die grinder into some sort of sander, this is how. I will preface this by saying that I don't consider this a woodworking tool, there are better tools for that. This is for grinding or touching up type tasks. For example, if you're refinishing a metal cabinet, sanding something metal before painting, removing protrusions on something, things like that. A sort of sander-grinder hybrid. They give you the backing bad, and then a couple types of mandrels that screw into it. One with a hex shank, the other smooth. You get a couple sponge attachments, but I don't really use those. Then you get a good number of hook and loop backed sandpaper that attaches to the backer. Each is marked with the grit on the back for easy identification, and they hold up well enough for the previously described tasks. The sanding sponge is a little random for this set, but I use it. I like this set, it's pretty useful and includes everything that you need.
