This diagonal gives sharp, bright images on my telescope. I was going to buy a cheaper one, and use it with expensive eyepieces? No. This one is a match for my scope and Pentax eyepieces.

Williams Optics is quality. this thing is well made, hefty and for an erecting prism it will beat anything you get out of the box. Superior product.

I've been looking for a good quality 45 degree diagonal for a while, and this one was suggested by more than a few.Even though I already had a couple, I wanted to try this one, and I'm extremely happy I did!Image wise, it out performs the Celestron, and the higher priced Orion deluxe.All I can say now, is that if your thinking about this diagonal, just go ahead and get one, you won't be disappointed!It's main use for me, is on spotting scopes, with Luminos eyepieces. The best erect-image diagonal I have ever used. I have several items from William Optics - eyepieces, refractor - and this is yet another gem. Why spend $40 on a flexy piece of plastic when you can buy this nice diagonal. NOTE: The rounded body is plastic, but the rest is metal (Aluminum, etc.). This diagonal does not flex and the optics are very good. Now my refractor doubles as a spotting scope.
