TIPS: Optional SLR Attachment; If you want to use your SLR camera for astrophotography, attach the SLR T-Ring (sold separately) to the T2 thread on the prism. Then, connect your camera to the T-Ring.

Anyone who has a reflector can benefit from this prism. The only thing that could improve would be a version with a metal collar to avoid marking the eyepieces. But you can use it with cheap plossl and get good results. At night with bad seeing, the view of Saturn was better with the prism in an 8 in Dobsonian than without it. This helped control the scattering light, improving image quality.

This is a nice prism and works well. It fit very nicely on to the telescope and the image was nice and clear as well as, just so slightly, magnified. It works and works well. Nice addition to the kit.
