A-B Repeat Function
The recorder has multiple playback modes: fast forward and fast rewind, variable speed playback, A-B repeat playback.
How to operate A-B Repeat Play?
- During playback, long press "MENU "button to enter the A-B repeat function, you will see 'A-B' on the screen, mark 'A' at this time, A is not moving, B is flashing.
- Press and hold the MENU button again to select mark 'B'. The file will then repeat from the 'A' tag to the 'B' tag.
- You can tap the MENU key when playing the recording, enter the re-read setting, and set the re-read times and re-read time.

I use this for recording for tech support and business calls that can last quite a while. I take notes but at times I need to go back and review.1. It comes with a real manual!!! Easy to read along with tips. An example, when using voice-activated It takes a recorder a few seconds to recognize sound and start recording again. You might lose a few words. Good to know.2. It has a menu button for all of your settings Just scroll through and find what you need. Another recorder I had, the manual was incomprehensible, and to do anything on the recorder required more than two hands and 10 fingers.3. The sound quality of the tiny speaker is okay but they were nice enough to include a set of tiny earbuds for better listening.4. It has a recording indicator light. Yes! My other recorder would just stop, and I would never know. Brother is that frustrating.Having had another recorder, this is a dream. It does everything I want to do, and I don't need to have a PhD to figure out how to do it.It also has a music folder in case you want to download your music to it.It’s got a good price point and does everything I need. What more can I say.

It's a great product. Recording comes through loud and clear! In fact be careful about how loud you talk when you're in range of it. The only thing I'm having a problem with is fast forward and rewind, it always goes to the next file instead of just fast forwarding/rewinding through the current recording.The reviews read that this was hard to use and understand, but it really is not. If you go through the users manual you will see that everything on the screen is in the manual on how to operate it. Literally, each step in the manual is "named" the exact thing on the recorders screen. Super simple!
