I’m in an office suite and the second to last door of a corner. There is an entryway to my right with a door, there is also another door on the other end of the suite. I felt like a sitting duck and would hear footsteps that come close then pause. I couldn’t tell if they turn around or wait for me.With this mirror, I can see who is coming. I can prepare if it’s someone who isn’t supposed to be there. My building and office suite is wide open. Anyone can come in the building and up to and in any office (no security, no check in, no appointment, nothing-I’m a college teacher). It gives me peace of mind and a chance to hide under my desk if needed. Our training for school shooters never addressed us in our offices. We are sitting ducks.The item is very easy to use and assemble. I ordered strong magnets with adhesive on one side and stuck it to the plate where screws go. My doorframe is metal so I just stuck the mirror up using the magnets. I can take down whenever. It’s actually thin enough to close the door and not have to move it (being in the outer frame). I got the one with the top part to help with light reflection, I am sensitive to the fluorescent lights. Great product!

Things seem to be getting really crazy now days so I've been looking for ways to help promote my family. We both work from home, and we also gets lots of deliveries. While we have a door bell camera abs vdoir peep, we don't already use them because of the frequency that we've get folks at our door. We've have a nice front porch, but there are va couple of blind spots when using the door peep. This mirror it located behind where most folks would stand or hide, so they are not likely to notice it. But they would be very easy to see when we look out of the door or peep hole.

Advertised as coming with three different sets of fasteners for mounting. Mine only came with the masonry ones.Protective plastic film is hard to remove all the way, as it goes under the plastic rim of the mirror.Otherwise, I like how stiff the mirror is, making it only move when you apply force, meaning it likely not shift in the wind.

I haven't permanently installed this yet. I want to see how it holds up for awhile before I bother with installing a post in the ground where I think I ultimately want to place this mirror. For now it's temporarily placed in the second most functional spot for me. We have a drive way parking area that TECHNICALLY fits 2 cars, but it is a TIGHT squeeze. I'm stuck threading the needle between an exterior staircase and the back corner of my husband's truck. I can do it, and we've had zero collisions so far. But it is annoying. So annoying that sometimes I just won't run my errand because I don't feel like dealing with it. And for some reason I'm getting slower and worse at it instead of faster and better. I positioned this so I can see the backs of the vehicles and the bottom of the staircase. It's not in the absolute ideal spot, but even in the "good enough" spot it's reduced the stress around getting out of my own driveway. So now, unfortunately, I don't have an excuse to bail on grocery shopping.

I am using this on my front porch to reflect the area under my doorbell camera so I can see any packages that get left. Very easy to mount - I used the self-tapping screws through the hardiboard on my porch into the stud. I only sank 3 of the 5 screws which is more than enough. Easy to adjust, just need pliers to tighten the nut holding the mirror arm to the mounting arm once you have it in the right spot. Plastic is good since its shatter proof but still glass mirror quality reflection. A great value for the money!
