First off, there's nothing behind the mirror - no sides or other backing that would touch the walls. It's a curved piece of acrylic with a plastic piece on top. It has two hooks on the top to hang it, but these prevent you from being able to mount it right up to the ceiling, you have to leave at least a 1/2" gap. They also make it difficult to mount using any other method.Part of the protective film on the mirror had been damaged and the mirror was scuffed. Clear packing tape had been placed over it, apparently at the factory as the box was sealed. Not a big deal for my use, but a sign of very poor quality control.I liked that it was made in Canada instead of China, and the price I purchased it for was cheaper than other ones available. It works fine for a cheap parking mirror in my garage, but if you're expecting a quality product I'd look elsewhere.
