I had a small crack between cinder block in a foundation that I needed to widen slightly to make it big enough for cement to adhere to. This chisel worked great at chipping the existing cement joint out. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised it did that job easily. The tip was thick enough to do the work, while still letting me be careful and fine tune the chipping out of the cement.I already have a few more cement related small tasks around the house so I will continue putting this tool to the test.I now have this in my toolbox for future cement work that needs a chisel that can take hits with a heavy hammer. Recommended.

I've used this chisel for several tasks, from cutting apart sections of cinder block wall to cutting concrete into pieces small enough to lift. It's great! Amazing durability. Just keep grinding away the mushrooming on the head and keep working!

If you need a tool once and then will never use it again, this is a great option. I used a regular hammer, not a sledgehammer, the strike area became dented after a few minutes and the plastic shield kept moving. It got the job done, but I would not recommend for pros who are going to rely on it.

I received what appears to be either a used or terribly manufactured chisel. The chisel blade was horribly chipped, scratched and uneven, and the hammer strike surface was sloped (see pictures) making it extremely dangerous to use. One of the worst purchases I have made on Amazon in a while. . Kudos to Amazon for their superb return policy and taking this lousy product back!
