This is my first time using this brand of chisels, but I have 3 other sets that use to compare against. These are made of a chrome-vanadium steel which is less likely to rust than my other chisels which are simple forged steel. The handles on these chisels are a generous size that fit well in the hand, and I love that these come with hand guards as I've hit the back of my hand plenty of times with my hammer to know that hand guards are a must.I've used these in my back yard to break up larger pieces that I've brought back from rockhounding trips in the summer and they work well as precisely staying where I put the tip and breaking the rock where the cracks are. Overall, I'm pleased with the weight, design, and performance of these so far. I will update in spring once I get a chance to take them in the field when the snow dissipates. This is a fantastic price for 2 heavy duty, solid chisels.

Really nice set of Masonry Chisels. I have a similar set I bought more than ten years ago at Harbor Freight but I like these better than the HF set. I have Mortared Stone Walls surrounding my property plus a Stone Foundation so I do a fair bit of upkeep every year. The Rubber guards on these are much thicker than the HF set and provide much better protection and the Chisels themselves are thicker and just a little longer. Nobody thinks they're going to miss the chisel until they do, trust me the guards on my HF set have saved my hands many times and these CogniForge Chisels guards are much nicer. These Chisels are great for Demolition or Masonry or anytime you need a long Flat or Pointed chisel, I've used my old set many times for auto repair specifically suspension work on cars and trucks.
