Flimsy, but price is ok, you get what you pay for, bit thin gauge but will get the job done.

Not much to say about these. They are exactly as advertised. They are a little flimsy as they are made out of flat stainless steel. However, they are plenty sturdy to hold whatever you put onto them. On the plus side, they are actually sharp and are much less likely to split the food you are skewering than bamboo. They are plenty long to leave a little hanging off the grill if you choose, but short enough to fit in my 22.5" Weber and close the lid. I would definitely buy them again.

As others have mentioned, the sizes provided are wildly misleading and the product feels a bit cheap overall. But, given the low price, it seems reasonable and is fully usable. I purchased the "16-inch" skewer set. As seen in the picture, the actual total length of the product is about 15 inches. It's 14 inches from the point to where the eye starts to curve, and 11 inches of total usable space from point to the twisted section. The skewer is quite thin; about half as thick as other steel skewers I own. It's sturdy enough to use, but it bends a bit when fully loaded. It doesn't seem to be much of a problem, though, especially if you pull them off the grill with tongs. And watch out for the pointy end - It's sharper than it looks.Overall, it's worth it for the price and I would buy again.

These skewers are nice because they’re dishwasher safe. That makes them really easy to clean. Are used them in the oven for kebabs, and they work well for that. It’s easy to put meat on because they’re very sharp, but be careful because they’re very sharp! They do bend a little, but I put chicken cubes in the entire skewer, and you could still pick them up without the chicken falling off.

I bought these skewers to make vegetable skewers for an outside grill. These are extremely sharp, so they were easy to skewer items. However, they are bendy and thin, so they don't feel the most stable when using. Also, because they are one smooth surface, it's actually really easy for the skewered food to just fall back out (for example, if I tilted the skewer in the direction of the sharp edge, all my food would fall off and I would have to reskewer). When I grilled with these, I also got black marks on the metal very easily and they are hard/impossible to get off.Anyway, I think they are better than bamboo skewers, since they won't burn in the grill, but I don't think these skewers will last a long time. It most likely can only be used for a couple of times before you have to rebuy them. Also, they aren't especially long, so not great if you're planning on using them to roast marshmallows, etc.

I got these because I was tired of soaking bamboo skewers and getting wood splinters in my food. I love that these sharp so they were easy to fill. They were very bendy when putting them on the grill but the flat shape keeps the food from twisting on the skewer when you flip them. I also had trouble grabbing the curved ends with a potholder to flip because they did get hot. They were easy to hand wash but I did poke myself a few time. I’d recommend them.

These skewers are made of thin, flat steel which makes them very flimsy. They will not be useful for shish kebob unless the pieces of meat and vegetables are very small and light. Also, the rounded handle is very small and will not be easy to hold when the skewer has items on it. Returning these and will search for a higher quality skewer.

The stainless steel seems to be of good quality and the tips are very sharp (double edged sword if you pardon the pun - nice for piercing food, bad for accidental piercing of fingers). The skewers are thin as mentioned by others but while not ideal for large, heavy chunks of meat, very good for not slicing things like shrimp and prawns in two. The thickness is enough to prevent rotation of cooked items. Satisfied with the purchase
