I've only had it running for 2 weeks but so far it works well.I gave it a basic safety evaluation on the meter when I received it.Continuity from ground pin on plug to case: yes = goodIsolation (continuity from any plug pin to output): no = goodOutput regulation: good. 24.1VDC no-load, same at 5.5A loadNoise: noneHeat: at 5.5A load it gets warm but I can rest my hand on it without pain.Longevity: no idea - only had it 2 weeks.

This is a great transformer. I’m using it on all systems that require 12 V. It’s great because it has a short circuit Temporary disconnect so no circuit breakers needed. The only thing that I wish it had is a switch, then I could leave it plugged in.

You'll probably have to strip the voltage and ground cable more since it's pretty short, but otherwise it's a good PS.

Returning due to the musical high pitched noise it is making under any load. As the LED lights change colors, the pitch of the noise changes and it's audible through a wall.
