Product is mislabeled. It's a gear pump, not a diaphragm pump as advertised. Doesn't match the description. I opened it up and its just two gears for the pump mechanism, there's no diaphragm.

Complete junk. Came poorly packed with the outlet port snapped off. Would not prime. Manually primed it by sucking on the output, pumping action was very weak. Smelled of burning plastic. Tried multiple voltages using a bench supply. Do not buy.

Amazing micropump. I drained out a dishwasher full of septic water left for over a month and this little pump sucked it dry and was asking for more, and I ran it off a old 9 volt battery . It just spun up to a rpm well over its redline and moved that stink water out of that old dishwasher for me so I could get in and repair it without sticking my hands into that swamp water. It will drain anything you hook up to its barbed fitting on the pump manifold and run its guts out without getting winded or burning out on you. If I had had one of these a few years back I wouldn't have got flesh eating disease in my left ring finger and almost lost it from a little cut on it getting infected because I stuck my hands into the filthy standing dishwasher water sitting there for who know how long before I arrived at the service call. Just don't be using it later to move your drinking water after you run stink water through its guts, I would say it is forever meant for dank liquids after you fo and do that.

The motor shaft does not extend far enough into the pump housing . Because of this the end of shaft seats in the drive gear only by a 1/3 causing premature wear and failure.Tried very thin spacers in the motor to correct this but was not very successful as the brushes shorted on back of armature. Finally modified pump housing to allow it to seat lower and was successful.Decided to use another type of pump for my rc submarine that is higher quality.Pump housing is good but the motor shaft length is too short. This is a flawed design and don’t recommend unless you have patience to correct the issue.

Update : If the pump does not work, take the cover off and add a bit of grease over and under the gears (take them off carefully). This fixed the problem of the three pumps i had (two were not pumping but it got fixed like that) Please try it before returning!!Good:It really is self priming up. its a made kinda like a root blower style, but with gears instead of rollers. If you get a working pump it's an awesome model.Cons:kind of a gamble really... i took 2 pumps, both running, one defective(not pumping and could not find the cause) and the other had a nipple broken. i took both to make one good working pump. also one had a jammed motor, but it free'd itself up after i gave it power.Once i got it to work, i ran it on 4.8-5v and is was not really impressive... Then i took it on 7.4v and the thing was insane! tho i believe it wont last too long at that power. so i dialed it back at 6v and its working great so far... for real!other:If you get a working pump it's an awesome model. Would recommend getting at least two to get at least one working one, or spare parts if needed.

Pump does run when I inject power to it. But there's no air coming out from either of the 2 ports. Have tried with various voltage range from 5 to 12 and nothing happened. Not sure what to do here. No direct instruction on how to operate thisWill return the item and ask for refund
