Does the job well. Design of power cable could be revisited. Bulky attachment adds several inches to the unit depth, perhaps a right angle plug would be better.

I need this to run heavy telescope systems and keep my power from fluctuating too high and too low. On my first tryout so far, it worked great and gave me the 10 amps as advertised.

This little single-output power supply works well for my hobby projects. It doesn't take up too much space or make too much noise. I am happy with the product so far. The 3-digit display is enough for me and much cheaper than the 4-digit version.

I bought this DC Power Supply in July of 2022 and have used it occasionally ever since on low voltage, low amperage electronics for radio control hobby work. It came without manufacturing defect and has held up so far. Others have complained of poor manufacturing quality, inaccuracy of metering, and inadequate connectors. I have had no trouble with such matters with relative light and sporadic use. However, others have noted that "the documentation is poor [...];the knobs should be labelled"; that the "instructions were poor" and that "I didn’t understand the broken English instructions." The instructions are nearly useless. It takes some experimentation and head scratching unless one is familiar with such a power supply already.

I got the 10amp model just as a safety buffer. Most of my stuff used on it is 2 to 5 amps max. This power supply never seems to struggle under load and is very quiet.The display is easy to read, and the included instructions could be understood by anyone close-by. Fan comes on automatically when required by settings. It is also variable speed so it is quiet during most loaded operations. A great buy at intro prices for a basic no bones model that gets the job done.

Netzteil ist soweit gut, aber was gar nicht geht, ist das überaus billige, ja fast gefährliche Kaltgeräte Netzkabel. Die Schukokontakte sind aus billigstem hohlem Messing und so dünnwandig das sie gerne in der Steckdose abbrechen. Das müsste nach EU-recht verboten sein !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Ich meine, wir reden hier von eine paar Cent mehr für massive Messingkontaktstifte !!!!!Netzkabel wurde sofort ausgesondert.

Very impressed with this thing, and NOT just in a "meh, good for the money" kind of way. It's an awesome unit! Smaller than it looks in the pictures, easy to find a home for it on a crowded 'operating table'. Great troubleshooting tool, saves a huge amount of time, and 30V / 10A is a hefty chunk of power for running whatever project you're building or fixing.Nice quality metal case, smooth controls, unit doesn't feel cheap in any way. Voltage regulation is right on the money. Coarse and fine adjustments for voltage and current limit, very easy to use. Thumb screws on the output terminals for bare wires, or remove the screws and use any probes with banana plugs.I would buy this again, and definitely recommend it.

some funny sounds come out of it at low volts and the fan sound very cheap when at high volts this item is NOT ACCURATE but it is close to beingthe item is very light so that's good but when you like a HIGHLY ACCURATE reading you will need to use a multimeter-->> people that don't know about a item they think its right when its notPSthere are people out there that don't know about the item there getting and think its ok this is why you will not get many people telling you what's true when they don't know"" without any buyers there would not be a AMAZON ""

This is replacing and older bench power supply that cost me nearly 3x this much and probably didn't work as good as this one does. I like the more compact size and the tube feet grip well in the bench top so it won't slide around. The supplied test leads are good quality. The stability and fine control of the output is not perfect but I can't really complain for something in this price range. The cooling fan only comes on when and as much as needed and runs fairly quietly which is nice. I haven't actually run the supply at it's maximum rated output load for any time so i can not speak on how well it handles an extended duty cycle near max load. The current cutoff appears to work properly but the units emits an odd hissing sound while it is operating in current limiting. The display is bright enough to read outside but not too bright for inside on the bench. I have been using it so far to test and graph the power curves of some bare COB LED emitter modules and it has saved me a bunch of time already by having a built in current monitor that agrees quite well with my high precision multimeter. Next i will be using it to anodize some aluminum parts that require12v and several amps of current for 15-20 minutes and we'll see how it does then...
