Security. On easy. Looks like it will do the job. Only concern is the legs holding gate are a little shorter than I would like. I wish there were as long as others that I have Will have to wait and see how they work out.

They would work for a small dog or other small animal- we got them for goat fences and they are not sturdy- the goats can push and bend the handle/gate holder easily.I don't even bother to use them in my goat yard hospital pens anymore...... The cows like to rub against them to scratch their backs.....
