I purchased this pump for the sole purpose of flushing my tankless water heater. I wasn’t interest in spending a lot of money nor did I expect a quality product.To my surprise, the pump is a real work horse.It has features you would find in the expensive models and does it quietly and quickly.Great product!

This pump works great and is very powerful. I’m using it as a lake fountain spout so the water keeps flowing so ice don’t build up. It’s been running for 2 weeks non stop already.

My basement completely filled up with 6 feet of water. I was unable to access my regular sump pump so I purchased this thinking that it would help drain the room. Issue 1, there is no filter for the base of the pump. The basement was full of leaves and mud that clogged this unit in under a minute. After 50 attempts to unclog it I gave up. Issue 2, the unit has to be submerged in over 3 feet of water to trigger the system. The attached trigger has to be floating completely vertical in order to trip the unit. Which means that I would only be able to get the water levels down to 3 feet of water with this pump! Issue 3, the title clearly says 1.3 hp. This unite would be lucky to to hit 1/3 horsepower. I’m pretty sure this is a lack of understanding by the poster as all other models like this all say 1/3 hp. I’m really unclear as to what purpose this item is made for. You could possibly use it to pump water to a fountain in a pool… It you put it in a lake or any kind of natural water to drain it; the debris will clog the unit in under a minute.

Good solid pump at a great price. Lots of horse power, and moves the water fast. But it can't switch itself on and off in small, tight areas with that type of switch.

This little gadget worked when it wasn’t even plugged in!!!!! Unfortunately something happened to the power supply in the garage, but I just sat it in the pool anyway just to see would it help….. and to my amazement, IT ACTUALLY WORK AND WORKED WELL. It drained the pool down to about 1ft. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.

Works as advertised. Pump is strong. Make sure to keep the attached blue float upright or it wil shut off the pump. I did use the short adapter to attach the regular garden hose.

worked once x approx 5 minutes and did not run again- returned. I was using it in a pond pumping dirty water from another source of water into the pond. Checked the bottom and the impellors were not clogged and moved freely by hand. Then I put it in a large bucket of clean water and again the motor did not run at all and the float arm was properly placed. Not sure why it worked very well and then stopped.
