I have an extension electric saw, it gets a little heavy. This comes in so handy. It's light, sharp blade, you can cut 5" and more branches too.

This is the old fashion muscle power saw, it works very well but takes time for larger branches, and a lot of muscle, not strength, but endurance. I have an electric pole saw but this saw has just a little more reach than the electric saw and I needed to cut a limb the electric saw could not easily reach. The limb being about six inches thick, it took a while with this manual saw but the blade is very sharp and cuts through wood at a surprising rate. The pole, with so many sections, is a little wobbly but it held up just fine. The plus to so many sections is that it breaks down quite small for storage or transporting if needed.

A tad flimsy but not a deal breaker

Product could have been great but it was missing the tools its suppose to come with and the hardware to attach the blade

This trimmer has a learning curve for use. I haven’t used one before &, after unsuccessful tries, called my husband to help. He’s used a better quality trimmer before and it took him a few tries to get going but finally cut through about a 2 1/2†diameter branch. The blade is sharp but the pole is separate metal tubes with plastic joiners that screw together making for a weak pole. Better quality would have a telescoping pole. Storing a 14’ pole is difficult but taking it apart for storage is a pain. BTW, I tried to measure the pole and I didn’t get 14’ closer to 13’, for what it’s worth to someone. We didn’t use the total length because it was too wobbly and hard to handle. In hindsight, spend more and get a telescoping pole that my husband says works way easier.

There are many trees from my neighbors between the borders and many branches come across the fences. That caused a lot of leaves fall down on our side especially into our swimming pool. It's very annoying. I tried to use my chain saw to trim the invasive branches with a ladder, but it's not so easy and it's dangerous. So I started looking for a pole saw that can help us do the work. Finally I found this good product. It did the work I expected and we were so happy. If anyone having the similar situation, go with it.

This is a very useful tool of cutting and trimming tree branches. I have two trees in my back yard, which have some branches high. I bought this tool to prune the trees myself this year. First, this manual saw is easy to assemble if following the install instruction. Second, it was easy to use and worked great. Last, I just want to say assemble it properly and use it carefully since the saw is sharp.

I used it to cut branches for so trees branches between borders and neighbors. The overall experience is quite well where the pole is long enough to reach most of the branches. The sharpness of the saw is also above standard. I love how they also include a glove for you, pretty considerable.
