I replaced the supports that currently were holding up my shelves in my kitchen cabinets and these worked really well. After 29 years the plastic supports for the shelves were starting to break. I would recommend these to anyone looking for sturdy supports.

I had those crappy plastic shelf pegs that like to break and/or fall out when ya put too much weight on your shelf. Well, I had enough of gerry rigging those shelves and cleaning up the mess. So I got these metal pegs and I replaced all the old plastic ones and added some additional ones along the way. Those shelves will hold up a mad gorilla now. Nice!

These were just the slightest bit too small for my needs, so I used some hot glue to keep them in place & it’s perfect.

These pegs do not have 1/4 inch shanks. They measure 0.196 inches, not 0.25 inches. They will not stay in the holes, which are precisely sized.

I love the sturdy metal. I don't love that the shelf sits on top of the pegs instead of in them.
