This is the only company I have found that makes a truly seamless gasket, they're either molded, or die cut from a single sheet. The other gaskets you find will have glued corners. Where the 2 pieces come together, the glue sometimes creates a very small stiff ridge, and some can have a slight misalignment in height. A difference in the density and compress-ability in that critical area can cause a small gap that can leak when under hydraulic pressure (serious torrential rain, pressure washing or flat roof pooling, etc.) Also the glue can break down and allow the material to separate creating a gap. I have, through the years learned to put a dab of sealant under the corner seams to compensate, and make sure the unit is torqued down enough to firmly compress the gasket. Until I found these! With these one piece gaskets, clean the area well, remove any old sealant, make the contact area as smooth as possible, and you can skip the sealant. You eliminate 4 corners of possible micro leaks, and also eliminate the need to break loose, or cut through the old sealant when servicing or replacing the unit in the future. These are also about half the price the dealerships will charge!

As advertised this gasket is one piece as opposed to 4 pieces cut at 45 degree angles and bonded/ glued together. Also the material the gasket is made from is of good high quality closed cell, dense type foam. This is very good!! The only negative I would say is that the width of the actual foam is narrower than the gasket we took off! That surprised me since it is still a standard 14†x 14†size. It fit fine around the edges of the hole in the roof - so hopefully the actual width of each side is sufficient to prevent leaks!!! Time will tell!

Nice foam gasket, 14 inch to fit most air conditioners mounted on a motor home roof. Around an inch thick, can handle dips and such found on older roofs. No seams! Hardest part of the install is finding a ladder and climbing up on the roof. Mark the position of the conditioner with a marking pen before tipping it off for proper alignment after replacing the gasket. Easier done on the roof than inside. I used a sealer as my motor home is quite old. Watch light coming under the gasket as you tighten the bolts, until gone. Now, not a drop of water leaks in.

It’s a lot thicker and a bit narrower than the previous one. It’s one piece which gives it a complete seal. I installed it in about an hour with little difficulties. It rained heavy the next day and no leaking! I tightened it down and waited a few minutes and tightened it again. I gave the gasket a chance to settle and retightened it. So far so good. Great way to save big money for future repairs.

Our original gasket split at a seam and leaked. This gasket worked perfectly. DO NOT buy an inferior gasket that is glued together at the corners. This gasket is one solid piece of foam. It is worth any extra cost. The cost is quite reasonable considering the quality.

Perfect fit. Easy to install and best of all no leaks. Just ordered another one for the 2nd air conditioner. We have a 1993 Winnebago Adverturer Diesel Pusher with 2 roof air units. Went on YouTube to see how to install. This product was amazing. Don't hesitate to purchase.

Worked amazingly well! No more leaks! The old one was leaking from the place where the sides are glued. I'm guessing this one will be fine for a long time!
