First off I've only run a pumping test on this pump but it passed with success. I bought it to run with a 300 watt battery bank in case of power outage and it ran excellently. My meter shows it at 220 watts and approximately 1.9 amps. This pump is built very solid and I expect it to serve me well in emergency situations.

I bought this little beauty specifically to empty our hot tub. I had a smaller version of a battery operated pump that was fine, but so slooowwwww. If you have a hot tub, you know how long it typically takes to drain and what a pain it can be to get to the drain in the first place. Fast forward to this little pump arriving...got it set up, dunked it into the tub, left it for a little while to do it's thing. No more opening and closing the hot tub hatch, messing with the valve, hooking hoses into the valve, and having an emptying process that takes hours. This was done quickly and with no fuss AND it looked good doing it too with its shiny stainless shell!

Worked great as a swimming pool drain pump and completely drained our above ground pool in just a few hours…

This thing was set on automatic and it does the job! I still catch myself going in the basement checking it because I don’t hear it! The seller was quick in getting it to me. Thank you, I love it so far!
