These worked great for winterizing our chickens water. I attached them to a 16 gallon trash can. They never leaked and they are very durable with the chickens peaking them. They are super easy to install.

These have silicone washers and plastic wingnuts, much improved, just don't tighten them too much or the wingnuts will snap.

I installed 10 of these on a food grade plastic barrel approximately 2 months ago in the middle of winter in Michigan. After around 5-7 days and minimal hands on training our 13 chickens picked up in how to use quickly. Tied with an similar feeder system and in barrel de-icer out system has turned to fully automated. I replace with fresh water every 2 weeks and none of the nipples have begun to leak or wear at this point. They make minimal mess as well. 10/10 would recommend for all with chickens.

This is so much better than the nipples I've bought from other sellers. These nipples come with o-rings, and a wing nut to hold all together with out leaking

Poor quality. They came apart quickly, where the plunger spring would come apart from the nipple and allow the water tank to drain into the coop and the run. I had purchased these and another brand, and the other brand hasn’t had a single leak. I’ve replaced all red nipples with the orange brand and no more issues.

Very easy to install on the bucket, and my chickens picked up on using it very quickly. Good value.
