I'm a Party Planner and ordered these foam boards to make Star Trek themed props for our photo booth. I glued Star Trek characters and sayings onto the foam board, cut it down, and glued a stick on the back and they worked perfect. They're also very sturdy so I could save them in case I have another Star Trek themed party.

These foam boards arrived in perfect condition, and are working perfectly for the battle boards I’m making! It seems that glueing two together will be durable enough to not need additional backing

Exactly what I needed. The only thing of note is that the 2 outer foam boards were covered in dents. Thankfully I didn't need all 15, so if you are purchasing this pack, just keep in mind that you may only be getting 13 usable boards

Who in the world thought it was smart to mail foam core boards in a plastic shipping bag? The boards are dented and the edges smashed. A box would have protected the product. Also these are not foam core, just dense styrofoam.

I was looking all over for a foam of roughly this thickness without paper backing, for surface modeling on miniatures. This is exactly what I was looking for, and probably overlooked it a dozen times before finally reading the reviews and seeing that one that said it has no paper backing. While some people may see that as a drawback, to me that's an enormous selling point. This is great stuff, and will now be one of my go-to craft supplies.

The actual size of these boards is 11 3/4" x 16 1/2. If you are ordering these for backer boards or to fit into a frame, be aware of this discrepancy.
