The distribution of the wires in the fittings is uneven. They change from being thin to thick and the height varies. They do work but the drill moves up and down with the height variance and the surface being worked on is brushed more in the center than the outer edges.

Purchased these to refinish multiple painted metal chairs. Love that they can be easily switched in and out of my drill but be aware that you'll need goggles and maybe even a mask if you removing paint and rust.A table and some additional chairs are next on the project list and since these weren't damaged by my first attempts they are good to go!

This wire brush variety pack is a decent value. I like the different sizes & shapes in the kit. They aren't large brushes like for a bench grinder, they are good size for a drill. That's what I use them in. Like any wire brush the more it gets used the more they bend & lose wires. But these are made tough enough to get multiple uses out of them. The ones I received are pretty centered & do not wobble real bad. They work well in a drill. I'm happy with them.

Man, I am so glad I got this set of wire brushes for my rusty ol fishing wagons restoration project. It would have taken me months if I had gone the hand+sandpaper route, lol.I use these interchangeable steel brush heads with my portable, battery-operated hand drill (don't forget to mask up and use protective goggles) and I had that dirty ol rust flying off everywhere.I like the fact that this set has four different types of wire brushes which helps me get into all types of rusty areas on my wagon (corners, between wire meshes, inside tubular Piping, etc.). I was so impressed with the durability of these brushes because I finished my project with these brushes still looking brand new (very little wear loss). Good stuff!

I work in the automotive field and I'm always in the need of abrasive tools that will clean areas from rust or old gasket material. I mainly use these on wheel hubs or other surfaces that I need to be clean and flat before putting things back together. Another thing I do frequently with these is clean bolts, especially the threads. The applications are endless. All you need is a 1/4 inch quick connect chuck or any drill will do, although they tend to loosen a little every now and then.

This is a good set of crimped wire wheels in a variety of sizes and shapes. The price is really low for what you get, and if you get the larger quantity set, the price per wheel drops a bit further. They don't throw wire as you use them, and what I use them for is removing corrosion and rust from metal product like cast iron or when preparing a metal cabinet for painting. The hex shank is good and insures it doesn't slip in the chuck. The wire is packed pretty dense for what you normally find, so that's a positive. I think these are pretty good, and I'd get them again.
