I found these to be a great value given the price and quality; both accurate and functional! They may not be the quality demanded by a professional luthier, but for the musical hobbies they are perfect for that occasional spec verification or set up!

While these are much cheaper than alternatives from the likes of StewMac or other luthier supply companies, I have my doubts about their accuracy. There are multiple "rulers' on the string measurement card, and they do not seem to be entirely consistent with one another. It's good enough for some home tinkering with my guitars, but I would shell out for the name brand ones if you're an actual guitar tech/luthier.

There are certainly higher quality feeling sets out there but this does what it needs to and works well at a very solid price

Obvioulsy, this isn't going to compete with Stew Mac in terms of quality, but for the price, it works well. The radius gauges are a bit hard to read and there are some sharp/burred edges on some of the pieces, but for the average player who just wants to be able to set up their gear at home, this will work alright.

Decent enough, not the highest quality across the board though. The notched radius gauges in particular were pretty roughly machined. They were accurate enough as near I could tell, but I had to sand both the flat faces and the radiused edges to smooth them out, they were pretty sharp.Ultimately if you’re on a budget these will work for you, but nicer sets aren’t much more money.

Yes, you can buy a more expensive version from Stemac or any other major guitar company, or you can buy this and spend about 15min cleaning off the rough edges. They do what they say and honestly, for any new to this, its perfect.Use a high grain sandpaper to smooth some edges and clean off the excess amount of oil.
